Exciting news for Aviary users! CNet has nominated Worth1000 for the 2008 Webware 100! We were chosen by CNet from a pool of almost 4,600 websites.

I should probably go check out those sites though. Got a Peacock invite this morning already, but keep me in mind when Horus/Raven come out ;) The typographer in me shivers at the thought of Horus.

Seems, that I received no mail with an invitation :( The first time I got a mail I saw on the maillog of the server but it was rejected because of uncomplete HELO. Ok so I was on worth1000 after having my computer being repaired FOR OVER A MONTH... and oh how i'd missed my fix of the fantastic artworks on W1000 - Thought I'd check out aviary since it was advertised so brightly on the side panel advertising.
Immediately liked what I saw on the site - listed my email - tryed unsucessfully to click the 'tools' that I wanted and realised that you guys havent released it yet (ok so maybe I'd had a couple of wines and didnt notice when the paper aeroplane that currently serves as my pointer did NOT turn into a hand).
So I read a few of the blogs and posts etc. And there came a chance where I could vote for worth1000... so I clicked the link only to be greeted with 'voting for this competition has closed winners will be disclosed in april" - So guys I DID TRY to vote for worth - I love the tutes and Aviaries target group is exactly me - the non professional artsy with a internet addiction. My boyfriend and I were both a little dissapointed that we couldnt vote. But none the less we signed up for the Beta... fingers crossed. We wait in anticipation. Good luck!
