This video is insane. Much like the singer (zing!).
The most amazing thing is that this took the legendary Meowza literally 21 minutes to do in Phoenix, Aviary's image editor. It was a rush job, done largely for the purpose of showing everybody how a photo-realistic image edit takes place from start to finish, and it still came out amazing.
21 minutes! Crazy.

Seems well done, just wish it was slower so we could see what happens....and if you guys and gals have a "thing" about poor Britney...shame on you. I feel sorry for her, she's one sad kid and picking on her doesn't help. Pick on someone your own size.

Hi Andrew, no serious ill will was intended in doing this. "Detouching" is actually something we do to all celebrities at Worth1000 and Britney Spears kind of dominates pop culture, so it was an obvious choice for us. My "insane" remark was admittedly not in the best taste. Sorry if it was found offensive. Regarding slower - we have a normal speed version as well, but at 21 minutes it's really kind of boring to watch. This was intended to show an edit start-to-finish while still keeping within most people's attention span.

Avi, The fact that it is fun to fool around with someones picture is understandable. I suppose I just take the Britney thing a bit too personal. I know what she has, and why some of this is happening to her, and we call it depression. My fear is that the pressure we are all putting on her, will make her do just what thousands do each year, and haven't we had enough of our talented do themselves in? Music history is full of them. I don't know her, have never seen her, but she worries me and I think every one of us could do our part and get off her back and give her a chance to get it back together.... But please...be my guest....do one on Tom "Scientogy" Cruise...;-)

That was pretty cool! So, when do I get to try it out? I requested Phoenix, and am anxious to participate! I think Hillary would have been a good choice as well...showing the true her.

I saw the Techcrunch post about Aviary, but I wasn't able to snag an invite. :( None of the other online image editors that I've seen come close to what your doing with Phoenix. Really great work! The interface looks great. Do you have any idea on when it (and the rest of Aviary) will be released to the general public?
