Aviary Documentation Wiki
This wiki can be edited by all Aviary users.
Aviary is a suite of web-based applications (RIAs) for people who create. From image editing to typography to music to 3D to video, we have a tool for artists of all genres.
Overall, eighteen tools (13 main tools, 4 minitools, and a marketplace system) are planned.
Currently, two tools are widely available (
Phoenix and
Peacock):
EditPhoenix
 | | Phoenix is an image editor akin to Adobe Photoshop. |
EditPeacock
| | Peacock makes it easy to generate an infinite variety of patterns that can be used as a texture or background image. By using a simple arrangement of filters or "nodes", the original image is transformed, step by step, into the final image on the Canvas. The pattern can then be imported into artwork created with other tools in the Aviary suite. |
